Job Duties
- Reports to the Director of Pupil Services
- Knowledge of Diabetes Management, G-tube feedings, catheterizations of school age children, and other medical procedures given per a doctor's order
- Oversees medical services for students
- Coordinates and assists health screening programs with the Coordinated School Health Coordinator
- Performs duties relevant to a school nurse position in a school clinic setting
- Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Pupil Services and/or School Superintendent
- Active RN License in Tennessee
- BS or higher in nursing required
- Previous school nurse, pediatric or public health experience preferred
