The Oak Ridge R-VI School District is seeking a qualified Special Education Process Coordinator (K-12) for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Special Education Process Coordinator supports the district’s special education program by ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, coordinating special education services, and assisting staff with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Responsibilities include coordinating evaluation and eligibility processes, supporting staff with special education procedures, monitoring compliance with IDEA and DESE requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation.

The position works collaboratively with administrators, teachers, parents, and related service providers to support students with disabilities and ensure appropriate educational services are provided.

Additional responsibilities include oversight of Medicaid billing documentation and compliance for eligible special education services, coordination of required reporting, and support of district processes related to special education funding and service documentation.

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Special Education and/or Educational Administration and have a minimum of four years of experience in special education. Knowledge of special education law, compliance procedures, IEP development, and special education documentation requirements is preferred.
