ORNL is home to more than 7,000 dedicated, innovative staff, working in a culture that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds. In addition to cutting edge science, ORNL's work includes protecting sensitive technologies and ensuring compliance with U.S. laws and international obligations designed to prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems.

The Nuclear Nonproliferation Division (NND) at ORNL advances U.S. export control and nonproliferation objectives by providing subject matter expertise that strengthens national security policy, supports regulatory improvements, and enhances compliance and implementation at both localized and federal levels.
