Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) seeks a collaborative and solutions-oriented leader to serve as its Sr. People Data Analyst, HR People Analytics . The HR Workforce Data Strategist will serve as a business partner with ORNL Leadership in planning and managing how the company’s HR data is collected, reported, and used for the purposes of supporting business priorities. The position will identify workforce intelligence through company insights, HR information systems and organization data bases. The position will provide meaningful workforce strategy recommendations which guides ORNL talent strategies. This position will report to the Director Employee Experience and will work closely with HR Leadership to influence HR supported organization workforce structures. The HR Workforce Data Strategist is a multi-disciplinary role demonstrating strong technical, business and Human Resource proficiencies.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Works with leadership to define and implement workforce analytic architecture including protocols, systems, reporting, communication, and best practices.
- Works with HR and company leadership to identify, analyze and report HR data which supports ORNL business objectives and priorities.
- Develops benchmarking, monitors, and appropriately leads change to the HR data architecture.
- Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and validation processes through collaborative practices.
- Remains informed of global, national, regional and company talent strategy trends which is relevant to business objectives. Communicates and incorporates these insights into recommendations.
- Serves as subject expert for HR related data priorities.
- Makes data supported recommendations for improving talent strategies.
- Communicates data-based HR strategies to multiple audiences and champions a data-based decision culture.
- Maintain strong dedication to the implementation and perpetuation of values and ethics, and ensure compliance with environment, safety, health, and quality program requirements.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business, statistics, or finance.
- 5 Years of relevant HR experience
- 10 years of relevant data analytics experience.
- Excellent communication skills including reporting, verbal, written and presentation for multiple audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Service oriented with an ability to build collaborative relationships with business partners and leadership.
- Must be detail-oriented and exhibit creative problem – solving skills.
- Must be strategic minded and able to focus on “bigger picture” solutions.
- Systems experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resource Information Systems.

Salary : $86,500 - $109,000
