Brief Description
The Director of Housing responsibilities include overseeing the operation of Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Employees in this position must plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Assisted Living facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as may be directed by the CEO and supported by the Regional team to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Requirements
Director of Housing Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a passion for working with seniors
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Maintain attention to detail in care and services
- Maintain positive communication with residents, family members and staff
- Manage staff meetings, trainings and new hire orientations
- Implement and follow all Oak Park Place policies
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Manage conflicts and resolve complex problems
- Drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and performance metrics
- Work well independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 year of experience in Assisted Living, long term or health care
- 5 years of supervisory experience in a long term or assisted living care setting preferred
