The Cook responsibilities includes preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents while adhering to dietary requirements and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portion and serve food to facility residents
• Cook food according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and number of portions to be served
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
  
  
  

We are currently looking for someone part time from 11am-7pm a few days a week and every other weekend.

Requirements

Cook Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of kitchen or food preparation
• Experience working with seniors is preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation rules
• Ability to understand recipes and calculate measurements
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Understanding or ability to learn the use of commercial kitchen equipment
