Website and Digital Presence
- Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the district's family of websites, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and accessible Provide training and ongoing support to school and department staff responsible for maintaining web content

Content Creation and Storytelling
- Support the development, writing, and editing of content for websites, newsletters, social media, and other district publications Create and curate content that highlights district initiatives, events, and accomplishments

About the Role:
The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the District's communication strategy by helping ensure timely, clear, and accessible information for students, families, staff, and the broader community. This position contributes to the development and delivery of high-quality communications across digital platforms, supports storytelling efforts, and helps strengthen engagement with stakeholders.
The Communications Coordinator will help ensure that equity remains at the center of the district's communications practices, in alignment with Board Policy 7:12: Ensuring Racial and Educational Equity, with a focus on access, inclusion, and impact on student learning and staff practices.

This position requires the performance of light workwhich requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. The position includes close visual acuity, frequent talking, hearing, walking, climbing stairs and standing, occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. The job is performed in non-hazardous environments and a clean atmosphere. The position requires indoor and outdoor supervision during varying temperatures and climatic conditions.
