NO HOLIDAYS!Outstanding Benefits Monday – Friday Schedule | 401(k) & Employer Contribution | Health, Vision, AND Dental Insurance | HSA | FSA | Employer paid Life Insurance | Predictable schedule | Generous PTO | Experienced, collaborative peers | Quarterly RVU bonuses | Accessible Medical Directors Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Summary Full-Time (1.0 FTE) | Monday-Friday onlyThe Wound Care NP or PA functions under the clinical supervision of licensed physicians, providing high quality wound care to patients within Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, and Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital settings. Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluates and manages patients for wound care and ensures delivery of care meets current standards of practice. Ensures education is provided to the facility staff regarding patient's wound(s). Addresses both acute and chronic primary care complaints, and able to ascertain medical urgency. Applies principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations. Consults specialty services as appropriate. Orders pertinent diagnostic laboratory and radiology testing for the medical diagnosis or presenting symptom. Accepts feedback and direction from the supervising physician. Creates and implement a medical plan of care. Prescribes medications as appropriate. Performs timely documentation and billing. Other duties as assigned.QualificationsValid Wisconsin Registered Nurse LicenseValid Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License Wound Care Board Certification (WOCN) or within 6 months of hire Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) DEA LicenseWhat Could Make You Stand OutProven leadership skillsOne year’s experience in Internal Medicine and Wound Care. Excellent clinical skills, communication skillsA strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented. Problem-solve and use resources wellWork well independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in a fast-moving, high-growth work setting. Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR), e-prescribing software, scheduling software, and telemedicine software. Salary : $106,000 - $137,100
