What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Oak Knoll Christian Preschool?
Candidates must be teacher qualified by MN Rule 9503 and meet other requirements through DHS. Our program will offer on/offsite paid training for continuing education.
One-year experience in early childhood education preferred but not required.
Candidates must work efficiently with their co-teachers, be flexible and have strong communication skills with their peers and families in our program. Job responsibilities include planning developmentally appropriate curriculum, creating and maintaining a child centered classroom.
Our program offers families two enrollment options, preschool (9:30-12) from September to May and child care (7:30-5) which is year-round. The open position is in our 3/4-year-old classroom and would be a year-round position. The position would entail teaching preschool with your co-teachers and tending to the children's care giving needs. This position would be ~30 hours a week. We offer lower than state ratios in our classrooms with a capped number of children and 3 staff, this allows for a supportive work/ home life balance.
Additional compensation for this position includes monthly bonuses, PTO, 12 paid holidays and 50% discount on child care.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
