Job Summary
Oak & Ivy Learning is a Christ-centered, Charlotte Mason–inspired homeschool enrichment program serving students in grades K–8 in Estero, FL. Our students learn through living books, nature study, and hands-on projects in a small, close-knit classroom setting.
We're building a pool of substitute teachers we can call on when a regular teacher is out. There's no set schedule — just your availability when we need it.
Responsibilities
- Cover classroom instruction on an as-needed basis when a regular teacher is unavailable
- Follow the lesson plans and materials left by the regular teacher for the day
- Lead a multi-age group of students (ages 5–14) with warmth and confidence
- Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
- An active Christian faith that naturally informs your teaching and relationships
- Teaching experience in any setting — classroom, co-op, or tutoring
- Comfort working with multi-age groups of students
- Reliability and flexibility — able to say yes when your schedule allows, no when it doesn't
