This educator will design and deliver College Credit Plus (CCP) chemistry curriculum aligned with district standards and partner college expectations, ensuring rigorous, engaging instruction for high school students earning dual credit. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and lab activities, teaching chemistry concepts and applications, assessing student performance, and providing timely feedback and academic support. The teacher will maintain a safe, well-organized laboratory environment, integrate technology and real-world examples into instruction, and collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and college partners to support student success. Additional duties include participating in professional development, communicating regularly with families and stakeholders, and contributing to school initiatives, data teams, and departmental planning.

- Strong Communication skills, including clear instructional delivery, constructive feedback to students, and professional collaboration with colleagues, families, and college partners.
- Teaching skills that reflect effective classroom management, student engagement, differentiation, and use of formative and summative assessments.
- Background or comfort with related disciplines such as Physics is beneficial for supporting integrated science learning and interdisciplinary projects.
