Oak Hill Contractors, LLC believes in having a team oriented, family environment, while maximizing production and timeliness to enhance positive outcomes for our clients. We specialize in land reclamation, land clearing, revegetation, drain projects, and brush mowing. We contract with coal mines, landfills, quarries, USACE, and many other entities.
Position Overview
Oak Hill is actively recruiting Experienced GPS Dozer Operators, for short and long term contract jobs in the Southern Illinois region, Surface 50023 MSHA papers highly preferred.
Qualified applicants must have the Following
- Fine Grading Skills
- Topcon operating system skills ( preferred )
- Ability to lead a group within a crew. Be able to communicate well with other employees on dirt placement etc.
- Forward thinking and proper planning as a job progresses
- Ability to put flat planes to grade as well as ditch shaping and elevation checks.
- MUST HAVE GPS EXPERIENCE
Schedule
Varying schedule; approximately 10-12 hour days 5-6 days per week. Off every Sunday guaranteed.
