Minimum Qualifications
This is a pool posting for elementary level positions (grades Kindergarten through 4th) that are currently or may become available for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate with Elementary Education endorsement
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education; Master's preferred
- Successful experience as an elementary teacher preferred
- Strong pre-reading, core academic skills, and student centered approach to learning
- Experience and/or training working with diverse learning capabilities ranging from special education through gifted including at-risk students
- Demonstrated interest, commitment, and ability to work positively with elementary students
- Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to decision making in collaboration with administrators and other staff members
- Knowledge of Washington State education trends and the use of technology in the classroom
- Ability to provide a highly structured learning environment and work with a team
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and positive attitude required
