This position involves driving 24’, 26’ and a 28’ bobtails to make pick up and deliveries at our customers locations. Oak Harbor Freight Lines offers and internal, get paid while training program for those interested in becoming a Class A Driver. The drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off.

Job Description
This position involves driving 24’, 26’ and a 28’ bobtails to make pick up and deliveries at our customers locations. Oak Harbor Freight Lines offers and internal, get paid while training program for those interested in becoming a Class A Driver. The drivers work Monday – Friday with weekends off.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid DOT Medical Certification
- Must have a clean driving record. No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers
- Safely and efficiently operate bobtail trucks of different sizes
- Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions
- Ability to meet the company’s reliability standards for employees
- Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required
- Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Overtime after 8 hours daily
- Medical, dental, vision – you choose which plan suits you and your family needs.
- Single person pays up to 2% of gross income.
- Entire family pays up to 4% of gross income.
- 401K – 100% match up to 5% of employees contribution.
- Accrue 80 hours of PTO within the first 11 months.
