Description:
An Assistant Childcare Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing and education environment for children. This role helps implement age-appropriate curriculum, supervises play and learning activities, and assists in fostering the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lessons and activities.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
- Help guide children in developing appropriate social behavior and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and supplies.
- Assist with mealtimes, rest periods, toileting, and other daily routines as needed.
- Observe and document children's progress and report any concerns to the Lead Teacher or Director.
- Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and center policies.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
