We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. As a member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our dining facilities, supporting the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and breaks down dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets. Cleans and polishes machine thoroughly including removing any paper and hosing down interior. Checks machine to be sure it is operating correctly and reports any defect immediately. Washes and stores in proper places all dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and small equipment for the department. Checks water temperature during dishwashing operation to ensure proper temperature. Report if temperature is not being met and switch to liquid sanitizer.
• Maintains a clean and organized dish room, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Removes trash from dish room, cleans and sanitize garbage cans and keeps liners in cans at all times.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the kitchen team
  
  
  

Requirements:

• HIGH_SCHOOL diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and quality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment as needed
