Job Description
As a Service Coordinator, you will work with retail centers, independent contractors, and customers to coordinate service on manufactured homes. Customer service is an important component of the position as you will be the initial point of contact for customers when they need service on their new home. As such, patience, self-control, and good communication skills are important qualities when dealing with customers.
You will also need to build a strong relationship with contractors and manage their schedules to ensure timely service and an experience that represents the value of the brand. Detail-oriented clerical skills are also important to manage the inbound flow of requests to ensure nothing is missed which would delay the customer’s enjoyment of their finished new home. Constant communication between all parties is vital to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. It is the service coordinator’s responsibility to facilitate that communication.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the service coordinator include but are not limited to the following:
Answer customer, retailer, and contractor phone calls and emails
Write service orders and service authorizations based on requested repairs
Assign SOs and SAs to contractors or retailers to perform repairs
Follow up with all parties to provide updates as repairs progress
Create parts lists with contractors and submit to purchasing for processing
Verify parts and oversee contractor loading of parts
Inspect finished homes for quality and repairs before shipping
Collect, verify, audit, and process contractor billing and retailer invoices
Create and maintain files, make copies, and generate reports
Work with other members of the service team to facilitate the same
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
