Night Shift Cashier
Oak Barrel Café is looking for a reliable and friendly Night Shift Cashier to keep things running smoothly in the evenings. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a steady pace, takes pride in accuracy, and understands that a great last impression matters just as much as the first.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers with a positive, welcoming attitude
- Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments with care and attention
- Stock and organize front-of-house items as needed
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized cashier area
- Assist with light closing duties and end-of-shift cleanup
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and management when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual (night shifts need grown-up energy)
- Friendly, calm, and professional with customers
- Comfortable handling cash and transactions accurately
- Able to work independently and stay focused during slower periods
- Team player who can step in where needed
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
Schedule
- Evening / Night shifts
- Weekdays and/or weekends available
- Consistent hours available for the right person
