Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems or manual methods
- Serve food and drinks in accordance with safety and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation, setup, and breakdown for catering events or banquet functions
- Buss tables promptly, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Follow food safety guidelines during food handling, serving, and cleaning processes
- Support catering operations by assisting with event setup, serving, and breakdown as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry, including restaurant, banquet, or hotel service roles
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and catering operations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality principles and guest relations to enhance customer satisfaction
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
