Position Overview:
We are looking for Medical Assistants who are passionate about patient care and supporting a positive and efficient workplace. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for scribing for physicians, assisting with procedures and office visits, communicating with other physicians and patients, sending prescription refills to pharmacies, and submitting prior authorizations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with a positive and professional attitude
- Scribing for physicians
- Assisting with procedures and office visits
- Sending prescription refills to pharmacies
- Submitting prior authorizations
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with office systems
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
- A genuine desire to learn and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience in a medical office is a plus
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred, but not required)
