Job Summary
The Sales Representative (SR) will generate and utilize leads from marketing materials for OACYS services to ensure prospects are aware of service OACYS can offer them. The SR will identify business and residential prospects and reach out by phone, e-mail or in-person visits to the residential and business locations to offer OACYS services. The overall responsibility for the position is to identify and bring on new customers, and to maintain a good relationship with those customers. The SR will work under the direction and supervision of the Sales and Marketing Manager of OACYS.
Responsibilities
- Phone and in-person outreach to prospective customers for Internet, Voice and IT services
- Engage in B2C, B2B, door-to-door, and event-based sales initiatives to generate leads.
- Production of written proposals for business prospects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Present and demonstrate OACYS services, identifying the best solutions to meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, leads, and sales using company CRM tools.
- Recommendations for marketing campaigns to generate sales leads.
- Following-up and responding to residential and business customer leads in coordination with customer service team.
- Attending community and networking events, sometimes outside business hours
- Occasionally attend webinars or conferences to stay updated on current marketing and sales methods
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new or changes to OACYS services and costs.
Experience
- Multiple years of sales experience with business prospects
- Sales knowledge of Internet or IT related services
- Proven ability to generate new business through B2C, B2B, and other sales channels.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, mobile apps, and other digital tolls for lead tracking and reporting.
- Valid driver's license and clean record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45, $65,000.00 per year
