Position: Construction Inspector - Water Pipelines
Hourly: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
· 8 hour shift
· Monday to Friday
Work Location: On the road (Sacramento, CA)
Duties:
· Water Utility/Pipeline/Water Meter Inspection.
· Utilities Water Troubleshooting.
· Hot tapping on existing watermains.
· Water system installation of new pipelines, replacement, and repairs.
· Hydrostatic Pressure testing.
· Inspection of various types of pipelines including Ductile Iron pipe.
· Inspecting various projects that include but are not limited to Watermain Replacements, Developers, Reservoirs, New Installations, etc.
· Overseeing General Contractors.
· Ensuring that the projects are in compliance with the codes, construction documents, contracts and meets client’s specifications.
Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Must have project experience in tank and sanitation.
- Must be able to read drawings, plans and permits.
- Must be able to prepare daily inspection reports using Microsoft word.
