Job Description
Our New Jersey area client is looking for a SQL/SSIS Developer for a permanent role by way of contract-to-hire. This role will be 2 days/week onsite and otherwise work from home.
Position Description
Develop and maintain SSIS packages
Write and optimize complex SQL queries
Build stored procedures, functions, tables, and views
Participate in Agile sprints and daily standups
Perform unit testing on all developed work
Support 24/7 production systems and handle incidents
Required Skills
Strong hands‑on SSIS package development
Advanced SQL Server development
Experience transferring and processing millions of data records
Background working in large enterprise environments
Complex query writing and performance tuning
Database design (tables, views, schema changes)
Unit testing experience
Comfortable in zero‑downtime, high‑availability environments
Bonus Skills
Behavioral health or Medicaid experience
Healthcare data exposure (claims, eligibility, regulatory data)
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Health Informatics. Preferred: Master's in Computer Science, Master's in Data Science, Master's in Health Informatics, MBA.
