Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, offering recommendations and answering questions about drink ingredients and menu options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash and credit card payments efficiently.
- Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending with strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and craft beer.
- Excellent customer service skills with an energetic and approachable attitude.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper sanitation procedures.
- Previous experience in high volume establishments or hospitality industry preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
