Duties
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain pristine water quality
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems to ensure proper operation
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service reports for each pool serviced
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a secure working environment
- Assist with chemical balancing and water testing to uphold health standards and water clarity
- Support seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools, including draining, covering, and winterizing as needed
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or servicing technical systems
- Familiarity with pool maintenance routines including cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing
- Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for repairs or adjustments
- Service technician experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple pools efficiently
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between service locations
