- Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to remove stains and debris effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, lobbies, offices, and other designated areas by sanitizing surfaces and restocking supplies.
- Operate janitorial equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, extractors, and cleaning carts efficiently and safely.
- Follow established environmental services protocols to ensure eco-friendly practices are upheld during all cleaning activities.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment for all occupants.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing all custodial tasks to promote a safe workplace.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures.
- Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors.
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning methods such as steam extraction or dry cleaning processes.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly.
