What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Specialist I position at O'Reilly Auto Parts?
This is an entry level position responsible for a variety of necessary maintenance and repair tasks under the general supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. Contributing to the overall upkeep of the O’Reilly corporate campus and company assets.
Essential Job Functions
Assist the maintenance team with general maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Work with the facilities team to ensure the campus meets the quality maintenance standards.
Provide support for departmental moves; including taking apart and setting up new cubicles and offices, movable partitions, office furniture and equipment at the corporate office buildings or distribution center facilities.
General grounds keeping maintenance of the corporate office buildings and grounds including removing trash, cardboard, pallets, pulling and spraying weeds, etc.
Clear snow on walks and stairs during the winter as needed including salt spreading.
Evaluate and inspect the interior/exterior of campus buildings to determine general upkeep or repair requirements.
Report and perform maintenance repairs under the guidance of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
Provide after-hours assistance in the event of an emergency or inclement condition as directed by the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and/or Director Corporate Facilities and Services.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
