What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-Op - Risk Management position at O'Reilly Auto Parts?
On site-Fall Semester-minimum of 20-25 hours during normal business hours
Responsible for assisting the Risk Management Department in the areas of safety, environmental, regulatory compliance, claims management, risk transfer, and loss analysis.
Essential Job Functions
Tracking incoming certificates of insurance for O’Reilly business partners.
Reviewing claim deductible reimbursement invoices for accuracy.
Providing notification of automobile accidents to various insurance carriers for purposes of subrogation pursuit.
Generation and distribution of various reports.
Conducting data analysis for purposes of identifying claim frequency and severity trends.
Assisting safety team with administering the “How Am I Driving” program.
Assisting with the maintenance of the corporate property insurance statement of values.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
REQUIRED
Current enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a major/minor in the areas of insurance or risk management.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
DESIRED
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
