Position Summary
O'Neill Logistics is seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators to safely operate Order Pickers and Turret Trucks in our high-bay racked warehouse. This position is responsible for picking customer orders, replenishing inventory, consolidating product within rack locations, and placing or retrieving pallets from storage. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate Order Picker and Turret Truck equipment.
- Pick customer orders from rack locations using RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Replenish pick locations from reserve rack inventory.
- Consolidate inventory within rack locations to maximize storage utilization.
- Put away inbound pallets from the warehouse floor into assigned rack locations.
- Retrieve pallets from rack storage for replenishment, shipping, or other warehouse operations.
- Verify product quantities, locations, and item numbers before completing inventory transactions.
- Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly scanning all product movements.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and warehouse procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating an Order Picker and/or Turret Truck preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Experience in a warehouse or 3PL distribution environment preferred.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights in high-bay racking.
- Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Occasional Saturdays based on business needs
