The work
Build relationships across the local healthcare community and grow the business through them:
- New long-term care accounts: assisted living, skilled nursing, hospice, group homes, behavioral health providers
- Retail growth through prescription transfers, med sync, compliance packaging, home delivery, and wellness programs
- Partnerships with physicians, specialists, hospitals, discharge planners, home health agencies, senior centers, and community organizations
- Educating providers and families on what the pharmacy can do for them
Who does well here
Personable, organized, self-motivated, community-minded. Healthcare knowledge or provider relations experience is a real advantage. The job runs on relationship building and clear communication.
Pay
$40,000 to $50,000 base depending on experience. Performance bonus of 15–25% of base tied to measurable targets, plus $500–$1,500 in quarterly spot bonuses. Ongoing coaching, sales training, and market-focused programs from an experienced consultant.
