Used Vehicle Technician

O’Meara GMC is looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Technician familiar with multiple makes to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to inspect, diagnose, and repair used vehicles. This position requires a detail-oriented individual to provide a positive customer experience.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $35 to $45 per hour, paid semimonthly.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete vehicle inspections, including interior and exterior components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle performance
• Repair and replace vehicle parts and systems such as brakes, suspension, and transmission
• Perform maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid exchanges
• Follow safety and quality protocols
• Maintain cleanliness of service area and follow all related safety and environmental regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors
  
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Used Vehicle Technician
• Expert knowledge of modern automotive systems, diagnosis, and repair
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently
• Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
