About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Roofing Foreman / Field Supervisor to join our Production

team.

This is a hands-on field position for an experienced roofing professional who can oversee crews

and subcontractors, coordinate daily job-site operations, keep projects moving, and ensure work

is completed safely, efficiently, and to O’LYN’s standards.

The Roofing Foreman / Field Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible

for the day-to-day supervision of assigned job sites and crews.

What You'll Do

• Perform roofing and related job-site work and repairs while remaining hands-on in the

field

• Supervise staff and subcontractors and coordinate daily job-site workflow

• Delegate work based on job priorities and help ensure projects stay on schedule

• Monitor job progress and communicate regularly with the Production Manager

• Resolve job-site issues and identify practical solutions to keep work moving

• Maintain a safe, productive, and organized work environment

• Train and support field staff on proper equipment operation and safety procedures

• Maintain work orders, job notes, reports, and other required documentation

• Organize, stock, and monitor shop inventory, tools, equipment, and premises

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety

standards

• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and the

Production Manager

• Conduct final job-site walk-throughs and help ensure completed work meets O’LYN

standards

What We're Looking For

• 5 years of experience in roofing or residential construction

• 2 years of experience as a roofing foreman, crew lead, field supervisor, or in a

similar supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, products, systems, tools, and installation practices

• Experience supervising crews and/or subcontractors and coordinating job-site workflow

• Ability to identify problems, make sound decisions, and resolve issues in the field

• Organized and dependable with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with the Production

Manager and field teams

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Ability to successfully pass a background check

• Ability to work on ladders and roofs, lift up to 75 lbs., and work outdoors in varying

weather conditions
