OSC is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant that provides assistance with Accounts Payable (AP) and a variety of construction project related tasks. This position provides administrative support to the Controller and other Accounting Team members as needed.
\n- Managing incoming AP invoices and processing through routing system
- Mail and release checks to vendors
- Process Notices of Intent to Lien received from vendors and sub-vendors
- Research and answer vendor payment status requests
- Follow up with vendors regarding checks that remain unreleased
- Provide timely responses to vendors regarding payment inquiries as well as other questions related to AP
- Release checks once required documents have been received, either by mailing or by distributing in person
- Electronically file all lien releases in the job files, both PDF copies and scanning and saving hard copies
- Process employee expense reports
- Update checklist daily with any new checks and checks released
- Enter all permit costs and reconcile Permit Register weekly with all permits obtained
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years related experience preferred
- AP experience preferred
- Detailed and hands-on approach
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Salary : $42,000 - $48,000
