What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Photographer, Seasonal position at O'Connor Studios?
O'Connor Studios is looking for seasonal sports photographers! We pay $80 per sport plus mileage and drive time. If you photograph two sports back to back each one is paid separately! The sports photographer will take team and action photos of local high school sports and then upload the files from their camera's memory card to their computer, edit the images, and then upload them to our server.
We have clusters of schools throughout central and eastern Massachusetts, some might be in your area! Most work is in the afternoon or early evening during the week with some work available on weekends. Busiest months: September/October, January/February, April/May.
O'Connor Studios pays a flat rate per sport, plus mileage. We can try to schedule you around your other responsibilities.

Required:
-Professional DSLR or Mirrorless camera body.
-Short lens (prime or zoom) approx. 35mm -70mm
-Long Lens (prime or zoom) approx. 70mm-200mm (max aperture f2.8 or f/4 preferred)
-Speedlight (dedicated flash which can be attached to your camera body ).
-Reliable computer with Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop and Bridge or equivalent software.
-Ability to lift and carry photo equipment.
-Must have own reliable and insured vehicle and a valid driver's license.
-Must be dependable, punctual, and organized.
-Must have at least some photography experience and a desire to learn.
-Must be a good communicator, willing to ask questions and ask for help.
-Adaptable to changing environments and schedules.
-Must have a positive attitude!
