Global Supplier Quality & Onboarding
The Global Supplier Quality & Onboarding oversees how suppliers are qualified, set up, and supported in our systems. This role leads a small team and works closely with partners across the company and around the world to ensure suppliers meet all compliance and operational requirements. You will join a high performing, collaborative group that values clear communication and strong partnerships. This position provides broad visibility across the organization and the chance to improve processes that directly impact ‑supplier performance, compliance, and the overall supplier experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain global supplier compliance standards; evaluate suppliers against required safeguards (e.g., MWBE documentation, information security and data protection, legal/tax/banking validation, certifications); and ensure all supplier records, certifications, and scorecards are accurate, current, and audit ready.
- Support buyer selected suppliers through compliance review and qualification to enable timely and secure supplier setup.
- Oversee the full supplier onboarding process, including collecting documents, checking compliance, setting up suppliers in the system, and coordinating with cross functional teams.
- Communicate with suppliers/Buyers about compliance requirements, needed documents, and next steps.
- Build and maintain supplier scorecards by setting performance standards and providing clear insights that enable buyers to manage supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance health over time, including defects, returns, service issues, or recurring risks.
- Lead a small team (1–2 analysts) responsible for day-to-day supplier onboarding, compliance validation, and reporting, providing clear direction, prioritization, and oversight to ensure accurate supplier data, audit readiness, and strong, consistent performance.
- Work with procurement, legal, finance, operations, and technical teams to solve supplier related issues.
- Translate business and technical requirements clearly for system administrators and developers.
- Review supplier workflows to identify risk and inefficiency and drive improvements that strengthen compliance, reduce onboarding cycle time, and improve supplier quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience working with supplier onboarding, vendor onboarding, vendor‑ management, or compliance‑ workflow systems (e.g., Certa).
- Background in supplier management, compliance, procurement, or process-focused operations roles.
Work Schedule
- Hybrid schedule: In office Monday–Wednesday; remote Thursday–Friday
- Occasional off hours meetings to collaborate with global teams
