Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological assessment services across diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role involves conducting assessments, rendering diagnoses, and making treatment recommendations for other providers to follow. The Psychologist will play a vital role in supporting individuals with various mental health conditions, disabilities, and behavioral health needs through the assessment process. Comfort with young children on the autism spectrum is needed. Testing experience and familiarity with HIPAA regulations are highly valued to ensure confidentiality and quality services.
This is an independent contractor (1099) position. We provide the clients, the office to see them, and testing materials. We do the billing and scheduling. You simply bring the needed test protocols with you when you show up at the agreed time on the agreed dates. You do the assessments, write up the results and forward your report to us.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and behavioral health screenings to determine patient needs.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document patient care activities thoroughly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across inpatient, outpatient, hospital, school-based, and telehealth settings.
Skills
- Extensive experience in the assessment of children, adolescents, and adults particularly special populations such as those with autism or disabilities.
- Ability to conduct psychological testing and patient assessments accurately.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills for intake interviews, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Experience working within school environments or social work contexts is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals across the lifespan—from pediatrics to adults—and diverse cultural backgrounds. Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour
