This is an on-site part-time role for an Infant Teacher at O’Brien Child Development Center in Auburn, CA. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing care and guidance for infants, fostering their development through age-appropriate activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Daily tasks include implementing curriculum plans, supervising infant activities, maintaining open communication with families, documenting developmental milestones, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and licensing standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Early Childhood Development and Child Development
- Skills in Curriculum Development and Teaching, with experience implementing age-appropriate activities
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a professional and approachable manner
- Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for infants
- Previous experience working with young children, especially infants; early childhood education or related certifications are a plus
- Completion of or enrollment in early childhood education coursework preferred
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements, including background checks and required training
