O’Brien Auto Team is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our brand-new Honda dealership! This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader who knows the automotive business, understands what it takes to close deals, and can help build a successful sales team from the ground up.
We're looking for someone who has prior automotive sales management experience and knows how to desk a deal. If you can structure deals, coach salespeople, work with customers, and keep a sales department moving in the right direction, we'd love to talk with you!
What You'll Do
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of automotive sales professionals.
- Desk deals and structure deals to maximize profitability while creating a positive customer experience.
- Work with salespeople to negotiate and close deals.
- Monitor sales performance, gross profit, closing ratios, and other key metrics.
- Assist with appraisals, trade-in evaluations, and inventory management.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure a smooth transition from sales to F&I.
- Provide hands-on coaching, sales training, and ongoing support to your team.
- Help establish sales processes, standards, and a strong team culture at our new Honda dealership.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience that builds loyalty and repeat business.
- Maintain compliance with dealership policies and applicable regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive sales management experience is required.
- Must have experience desking deals and structuring automotive transactions.
- Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, gross profit, and deal profitability.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold a sales team accountable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
