Overview
We are an insurance property inspection company. We inspect residential and commercial properties on behalf of the insuring insurance company. Hazards are noted in our proprietary software and photographs are taken of the property along with fire suppression and fire protection devices. A knowledge of construction and building materials is a must. Must have smart phone and own transportation. Job area is within 100 miles of Midland Odessa and in West Texas. Inspections of property and liability risk are done on a mobile app so a smart phone is a must. Pay is per inspection and is $81.25 per inspection. Usually about 40 to 50 inspections per month. Ideal candiate is off duty fire firefighter or someone wanting to do inspections on their own schedule. Most inspections are done Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 5:00 p.m. We are a 50 year old Texas company with inspectors throughout the state of Texas. See website at www.obcourtney.com
Responsibilities
Schedule appointment with policy holder and or insurance agent prior to inspecting the properties.
Turn reports in within 30 days of assignment.
Make notes of special observations and hazards on the premises for property and liabilty.
Make
Inspect fire surpression systems in restaurants. Look for in date inspection tags on fire extinguishers.
Make notes of all hazards associated with residential and commercial properties.
Correspond with the insurance agent if need be to set appointment.
Make appointment with property owner and keep schedule.
Learn ISO construction classes of personal and commercial property.
