NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing is hiring an Assistant Director for the Undergraduate Program!
This role oversees academic operations supporting the success of over 900 undergraduate nursing students — with an emphasis on collaboration across teams and leadership. The Assistant Director is a key partner in managing academic scheduling, enrollment processes, academic standing communications, budget oversight, and program reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the undergraduate course schedule across the academic year
- Oversee student registration processes and troubleshoot enrollment issues
- Manage academic standing processes: notify students of probation/dismissal status, track appeals, and update records
- Supervise administrative support staff and student workers
- Manage the program budget
- Conduct data analysis and prepare reports for accreditation and leadership review
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, advising, clinical affairs, university offices, and vendors to enhance registration systems and support program operations
- Ensure compliance with university policies and accreditation standards
Who We're Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in academic administration, course scheduling, enrollment management, or program operations
- Strong organizational, data analysis, and project management skills
- Experience with academic systems (Albert SIS, CourseLeaf CLSS, UDW preferred)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating extensively across teams
- Skilled communicator comfortable working with students, faculty, university administrators, and external partners
- Familiarity with academic standing processes and managing sensitive student communications
