Responsibilities:
As a Primary Care Attending at NYC Health Hospitals/Carter, you will:
- Demonstrate a commitment to community health, evidence-based practice, academic medicine, and patient-centered care.
- Adhere to applicable regulations for physician services and medical management.
- Initiate referrals for consult and specialty services as needed.
- Deliver direct clinical care, including primary care, chronic ventilator management, and acute illness treatment, while following established protocols and evidence-based guidelines.
- Facilitate emergency and planned discharges to acute hospitals or medical treatment facilities.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records, orders, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years post residency required; Geriatrics preferred
- Passion for patient care and clinical excellence
