What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Psychologist - ACS Children's Center (Bellevue) position at NYU Langone Health System?
We are searching for a clinical psycologist to work in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone Health for the ACS Children's Center with Bellevue Hospital Center. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversight and leadership of the ACS Mental Health Team;
- Coordination and collaboration with ACS and Bellevue leadership;
- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations prior resident's initial Level of Care determination, including psycho-diagnostic evaluations and brief psychological testing;
- Create trauma-informed care plans;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various settings (ACS, Dept. of Education, Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, NYS Office of Mental Health, Juvenile Justice etc.);
- Contribute to daily responsibilities of the Mental Health Team (MHT) by conducting risk assessments and responding to behavioral crises;
- Attend clinical rounds and placement conferences for specific cases where input is needed;
- Provide supervision to clinical staff and/or trainees as assigned;
- Adhere to all Federal, State and City regulations.
Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $135,881

Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited institution
- Trainedin working with children/adolescents
- Minimum of five-year postdoctoral fellowship experience in a hospital or related medical setting preferred.
- Must meet NYU Langone Health's criteria for psychology core privileges.
- Licensed or license eligible in the State of New York.Must have New York State license by start date of position.
