Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Associate, Business Services - Part Time Days - Hospice - Hospice - -.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for all clerical activities related to the clinical team. Assists with nursing and administrative staff to meet agency and institutional goals, and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Retrieves hospice referrals from appropriate referral sources via fax or email; receives daily referral and roster information; and enters patient admission data into internal electronic systems to support the hospice admission process.
• Utilizes technology to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
• Orders supplies, durable medical equipment (DME), laboratory services, and transportation as needed.
• Processes departmental invoices for payment as assigned.
• Contacts the appropriate department to arrange for installation or repair of related equipment.
• Prepares supplies and various items for nursing staff and performs photocopying and filing as necessary.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the use of required business and clinical electronic systems.
• Maintains assigned Epic work queues
• Assigns work; copies and completes assignment sheets; and collects coverage sheets for team.
• Screens and routes all phone calls as necessary. Weekend and holiday responsibilities include confirming staffing schedules.
• Copies and distributes referrals to the appropriate team supervisor and/or Business Service Associate by established deadlines; tracks field staff coverage as needed; rotates responsibility for scheduling weekend coverage; and answers patient and insurer calls in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School or GED. 1 - 2 years Business or Healthcare facility experience. Excellent communication skills (both oral & written), interpersonal and organization skills. Proficient computer skills. Knowledge of Medical Terminology R

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
