CMM Programming & Inspection
- Develop, modify, and validate CMM programs for new and existing components using PC-DMIS software.
- Set up, program, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and articulated-arm measuring devices (Romer Arm) for part inspection.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of precision aerospace components.
- Conduct complex dimensional inspections using a variety of precision tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gages, bore gages, sine plates, and optical comparators.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, model-based definitions (MBD), and GD&T to determine product compliance.
- Adapt and set up inspection tools, fixtures, and surface plate layouts as needed to support production.
- Document and report inspection results, including acceptance, rejections, and nonconformance records.
- Support customer and government source inspections when required.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming parts or customer returns.
Calibration & Equipment Maintenance
- Perform and document calibration of measuring and test equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Establish test setups and interpret manufacturer instructions or specifications to ensure accurate calibration.
- Maintain calibration records and determine re-calibration intervals based on historical data and equipment usage.
- Diagnose, verify, and calibrate newly acquired measurement equipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to enhance inspection processes and improve efficiency.
- Support compliance with AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards and customer quality requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience programming/running CMM's using PC DMIS
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical inspection techniques
- Must have GD&T certification, or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, procedures, and aerospace specifications, and drawings.
FULL-Time position of 8-12 hrs Mon-Fri with Sat optional

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
