About the Role:

As a project coordinator in the Funding Strategy and Operations practice area, you will collaborate with team members to support our clients through today’s ever-changing healthcare landscape. NYSTEC is considered a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and connecting the dots for our clients. NYSTEC has consulted on some of the largest Medicaid initiatives and served in various roles across a multitude of New York State healthcare technology systems.

Serving as a project coordinator, your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include working as part of a collaborative team and applying coordination, project management, proactive communication, and problem-solving skills to our healthcare project(s).

Key Responsibilities

• Create key project documentation.
• Plan and schedule meetings.
• Capture meeting minutes.
• Organize action items and decisions.
• Track project timelines and progress.
• Act as a liaison between teams to ensure smooth communication.
• Work closely with the project team and external stakeholders to ensure that key project milestones are achieved on time.

About you:

Required Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting projects involving multiple stakeholders and strict deadlines.
• Ability to develop and manage effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders through collaborative thinking and a customer focus.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

• Experience working on healthcare projects.
• Experience working on information technology projects.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field of study.
• An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.

The target base salary for this position is $60,407 to $75,508 per year. When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including skill set, experience, location, and job-related qualifications.
