Assistant Property Manager
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Assistant Property Manager to help support the day to day operations of our growing rental property portfolio. This role involves a mix of tenant interaction, property oversight, and coordination with maintenance teams to help ensure our properties are well maintained and our tenants have a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Show vacant units to prospective tenants and answer basic questions about the property
- Rekey and change locks after tenant move outs
- Meet with maintenance vendors, contractors, and service professionals at properties as needed
- Inspect completed maintenance and repair work to ensure quality and completion
- Assist with general property oversight and communicate updates to management
- Help identify maintenance concerns and report issues promptly
- Maintain professionalism and positive communication with tenants, vendors, and team members
Qualifications
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between properties
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Basic handyman or maintenance knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Organized, dependable, and detail oriented
- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication, photos, and updates
