What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at NYS Funeral Directors Association?
Immediate opening for a full-time, on-site PrePlan Administrator in Colonie. The department administers consumer accounts for a large prepaid funeral trust. The selected candidate will join a valuable team that is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, and accurate data entry in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- High volume of data entry with accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Reconciling account balances
- Document Management and filing
- Fielding incoming calls and emails
- Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with members, consumers and staff
- Ability to multi-task
- General clerical support
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and general computer navigation
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player
- Associate’s degree, or higher preferred
- 2 to 5 years administrative experience preferred
