Duties Description
Candidate will be invoved in all aspects of campground operations. Will supervise campground staff in the absence of the Caretaker, enforcing all rules and regulations for campground patrons. Residence at the campground for the camping season required.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications vary according to the specific duties and responsibilities associated with a particular seasonal assignment and the level of the position. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. Preference may be given to candidates 18 years of age with a valid drivers license.
Additional Comments
This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 11/30/2026, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date.
Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at the interview.
Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position.
Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain.
Must be able to work in remote areas.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Weekends and holidays may be required.
Must be available for emergency response.
Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Must have certification to operate motorized boats or personal watercrafts at time of appointment.

- Accounting of daily and weekly revenue
- Site maintenance
- Cleaning bathrooms and buildings
- Hazardous tree cleanup
- Dock installation and removal
- Must use proper PPE. Issued clothing and safety gear must be kept clean and presentable
- Vessel operation- moving supplies and employees
- Must have NYS certification to operate boats and personal watercraft at time of appointment.
