Per Diem -EEG – OP Laboratory – Flex Day/Evening Committed to care, our EKG-EEG technician can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team in a fast-paced hospital and conduct appropriate EKG-EEG tests ordered. Achieve at the highest level and feel the pride of Making It Possible This position is a Per diem Flex Day and Evening working alternating weekends position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY 10567. Preferred Criteria High School graduate or equivalent Some laboratory training and EKG/EEG experience Required Criteria Ability to operate all laboratory equipment and work various shifts. Ability to communicate with all hospital staff, physicians, patients, and visitors via the telephone and in person. Ability to deal with patients pleasantly to minimize trauma to patients. Must be able to function well under the normal pressures of hospital laboratory work. Possess effective communication and organizational skills.
