What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer position at NYMG?
NYM Group is hiring experienced General Laborers to support a variety of projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across multiple trades. Assignments may change from day to day and can include asphalt, concrete, painting, repairs, construction, and plumbing support.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor and assist crews with a variety of construction and maintenance projects.
- Support asphalt, concrete, painting, repair, and plumbing work as assigned.
- Move materials, prepare work areas, use tools and equipment, and maintain clean, safe job sites.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work overtime as needed, including overnight shifts during snow operations.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE A Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Class A or Class B CDL preferred, but not required.
- At least 5 years of outdoor labor experience required.
- At least 8 years of construction experience required.
- Experience in multiple trades preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and adapt to changing assignments and schedules.
